Leading our professional lobbying team will be Eli Nortelus, along with Richard Pinsky from the Akerman law firm.
In addition to monitoring the regulation of air conditioning contractors and the HVAC industry in general, our lobbyist team will be very much focused on the issue of reducing unlicensed activity here in our state.
Being able to receive and quickly share with our members the info coming out of Tallahassee will be an additional valuable resource we'll be providing for our members across all of Florida.
If you're not yet a Florida-ACCPA member, we invite you to join us! Your support will help to make a positive impact in the fight against unlicensed activity throughout our state -- where every unlicensed activity job prevented is a win for Florida's licensed professionals!
Florida-ACCPA has taken the significant step of retaining our own government relations firm to begin lobbying in Tallahassee on behalf of our membership.
This includes year-round representation before the Legislature, the Governor's office, and all state agencies.
The first Florida-ACCPA Education Event & Trade Show will be held on October 12th at the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel and Conference Center.
This one-day event is all about Contractor Success! It's an event you won't want to miss -- designed to improve your business skills while connecting you with the latest in resources and technology.
